Why I run Retreats
My Retreats are so much more than just reading a book or going on a course. They’re about enriching our internal world; our mental maps and models of the world so that we don’t just glimpse the future – but we really begin to believe in and develop a brighter future internally – which then begins to manifest in the outside world.
I love the environments where I run my Retreats. As many of you will know, there’s something very special about Ibiza, Goa, South Africa. Apart from all these places being by the sea, I especially love the people.
Of course making an impact and supporting others is important, but I also get an enormous amount from my Retreats. While I am here to serve others, I learn and integrate a great deal. I come back around to ideas, tools and models that I have visited many times. It’s a like a tennis pro – you’ve got to keep going back to the basics, over and over and over again. I get so much at an unconscious level from doing that and in many ways my life becomes easier as a result.
Simply put, I love creating and holding that sacred space on my Retreats, where we are all learning and transforming in each moment.
My coaches and mentors
I have trained with many of the greats in the NLP world over the years. But my coaches and mentors over the last decade of so have been Sue Knight and Gene Early. They are both remarkable so-much-more-than NLP Trainers.
They have created the space for me to discover who I am, why I’m here and how to make a difference in my life and the world. They are both exceptional in the ways that they train and facilitate. As a result I have modelled from them, a very unique flavour of NLP which is as much about personal transformation and success as it is about fulfilment and being the difference that makes a difference in the world.
